Jane of the PFL advises :
"We raised just under £2,000. The star wars characters walked around the bazaar for some of the time and also spoke to children (in character) and had photos taken with them. Santa came for the day and delighted all the children with his endless spirit and zest for life - he didn't disappoint anyone and was very much a highlight. Refreshments area was a massive hit and were rolling out endless slices of pizza samosas and cakes all afternoon and by 2pm there was hardly a crumb in sight. The stall raised well over £400 so did the best by far. All the tombolas went well and were completely sold out by the end of the day. Kids were generally walking around clutching various prizes/pocket money toyslooking very happy and the day went without a hitch. Definitely the star wars characters added an extra buzz to the day and put the icing on the cake."
We have been advised the money will be spent in various ways including trips/resources and equipment for the children.
